The swing weight of my AP1 irons with Nippon 850 stiff and New Decade Compound grips is barely D0. In my driver, fairway and hybrid swing testing, I have found that D3 is my ideal swingweight. I want to increase my irons to this swing weight, and don't like the idea of using lead tape.
If I was ordering this swing weight from Titleist, how would they bring the swing weight up?
- Would they poor epoxy down towards the hosel?
- Or would they suggest a different shaft? If so, what type? A 95 gram shaft? Does anyone have experience with the UST Mamiya Recoil shafts?
