Just wanted everyone to be aware that we are conducting Titleist Trial Events across the country for the next several months.  At these trial events, you will be able to try out all the Titleist products including the new 915 metalwoods, 714 irons, SM5 Vokey wedges and Scotty Cameron putters.  It is your opportunity to try all the products in one place and our experts will be on hand to explain the product and answer any product questions.

Here is the link to find an Trial event in your area.  Under "Type of Event", click on Titleist Golf Club Trial Event.  http://www.titleist.com/events/

Sorry, Steve - they held their event early - on March 28th.  Evey rep in the country is conducting at least one of these events.

These look like fun.  I see a couple towards the end of the month at courses I want to play this year, so maybe I'll make it a combo trip.  Thanks for the info!

    Cathi,

Thanks!!!!  Perfect timing for the event at The Quarry at Crystal Springs which is close to me.  I was planning on calling Brian Coe around the beginning of May to set of a driver fitting, so this dove tails in very nicely.

Just a suggestion, If you are going to a Demo or Trial event, check the website or call ahead of time.  There was one Demo in Erie, Pa.  Had to register  to be a part of.  I Did..  The next one of interest to me was at Tam-o-shanter here in Pa.  It also states on its website  that appointments needed to be made.. Hope to save some of you a little time and dissapointment...

For all those looking for new clubs, these are a terrific opportunity to go and try them out and see what fits you best rather than just buying off the rack or online!  All that can, take advantage!

Cathi:  Thanks for the update.  Will have to check with Bobby in Charleston on the 9th or Mt Pleasant on the 25th.   My clubs are in pretty good shape but love to go by and support the team and at least see what is going on. Prefer the one on the 25th, it is outside on the range.  He does an outstanding job in our area.  Chuck

Great idea for 2015 - thanks Cathi. Will there be equal representation of equipment for those sinister (LH) golfers, or do we need to set an appointment early and request to make sure what we would want to try will be available?

These events are not fitting events so no appointments are necessary.  The reps are there to showcase and explain the entire lineup of Titleist clubs (and all LH models will be represented as well).  They should have 4 people there to help answer questions you might have about the product.

Thanks. At the local late winter golf show (usually requires snowshoes to get from car to convention center), the 5 or 6 OEMs will have all their showcase products for the new year, and then have to scramble to find any LH club. If they even offer a LH option in those clubs. Had to ask. I appreciate the Titleist support for the right side of the golf ball.
  14. these sound awesome! Great idea Titleist!!

We have had inclement weather moving through the country so if you are planning to attend one of these events, be sure you call the pro shop that day to make sure that weather hasn't forced a rescheduling of the event.

    Hello Cathi,

I went to one last week in NH @ Pease golf course and it went great..  Finally had the chance to test out the 915D and the staff there was awesome...   Really enjoy these events...

    Thanks again

  17. What is the difference between the different types of events?

A demo event is usually a multi vendor event, with players trying different clubs.  They are free events, but there may not be as much guidance due to the amount of players at these events. A fitting event is an event where they take a limited number of appointments and do a 1/2 hour fitting.  This is also free and is normally held as an exclusive event (just Titleist) with one Tech Rep.

A Titleist Trial day is a free exclusive Titleist event where we will have 4 stations - a metalwood station, iron station, wedge station and putter station.  This is conducted by the Sales Rep, his Tech Rep as well as the host golf professionals.  This is an opportunity to ask questions, learn about the product, and try out our full lineup of clubs. You should also have an opportunity to reserve a more in depth fitting with the host pro to dial in your specifications.

what's the difference between a demo and trial event? there's only one near me in SE PA and not a huge fan of the facility. But, to hit Titleist, I guess I can make an exception! steve

For anyone attending these events - we welcome suggestions and thoughts you might have to improve them!  Let us know if you enjoyed the format, or have ideas that we can implement for our upcoming trial events.

  21. Asssisting with our Titleist Trial Event this Saturday (May 2nd) from 10:00-2:00 at the Golf Club of Houston in Houston, TX. We just hosted the PGA TOUR's Shell Houston Open and our practice facility is still in great shape! Anyone in our area interested or have any questions, I would be more than happy to help.
