I'm coming up on my 52 nd birthday and looking at upgrading to the steelfiber shafts for my Titleist irons. Went to a shop and got on the mizzy shaft optimizer it gave me 89 mph - 5-5-5-7 at standard length, the optimizer recommended the KBS Tour X flex soft stepped 1x. I would like to know if the steelfiber i110 stiff would play close to the recommended KBS X ss 1x?

My original fitting was done by Golfsmith sales associate. This is also giving me 2nd thoughts on my wood shafts. I usually went 60/70 in X flex. However they didn't have anything available and the best fit for me was the Diamana D+ 70 White stiff. This shaft is decent, however some days I feel I'm leaving some distance in the bag by not playing a stiffer 60g shaft (untipped 60x)? Any thoughts??

I was thinking of purchasing the Diamana S+ 60/70 in an untipped x flex - just butt trim only to play to a soft X. Will Titleist sell additional shafts for the 915 woods? Would keep whiteboard shafts as backup.

They also make a Steelfiber i125 you might consider also.

Sorry I don't get the 5557 part. Height ?  If 89 mph is with the driver I do believe X flex shafts are to stiff especially in the irons.

Having said that I do have the 110's in my clubs and they are great. Try the 95's also.

The miz optimizer is for iron shafts. The 89mph is my average 6 iron speed. The 89-5557 part relates to Speed, Tempo, Toe down(shaft bend), Kick Angle & Release factor. Mizzy rates on a scale of 1-9 so 4.5 is moderate & 7 is slight early release.
