Shortened driver - Swingweight

    Hi there, I have a 913 D2 driver (Aldila RIP Phenom shaft with a jumbo golf pride tour velvet grip) which has been shortened to 43 inches. I am worried that shortening the shaft has lowered the swingweight, can you recommend the best way to bring the shaft back up to standard swingweight ? Thanks, Mike

    Hi Mike,

    I would encourage you to change the SufeFit Weight to 14 grams, our heaviest option, from the standard 9. In additon, the jumbo grip is subtracting two swing weight points as well so a smaller grip, if comfortable, would help increase the swing weight.

    Hi Chris, 

    Thanks for the quick response and advice! Is it possible to buy the 14g on its own or do I need to buy the whole weight set? If so where could I get it? Ive looked online but struggled to find an individual weight.

    Also are you able to estimate what this would bring my swing weight up to? 

    Thanks again, titleist definitely are setting the bar high with this kind of after sale customer service.

    Mike,

    If you increase the Surefit Weight to 14  grams with a jumbo grip it should balance out to approximately C2.
