I have played a 905s for years in 8.5° and Fujikura Fit-On 11 Pro shaft in stiff flex. This combo is very good for me and produces the boring ball flight with tight dispersion that I prefer. I did however think that upgrading to a little newer adjustable driver might benefit me but so far, I have not been having good results and believe part of it may be in the shaft. The club is a 910 d3 and has a stiff flex Diamana Ka'Li shaft. I like being able to adjust loft and overall, it may be marginally longer but it is very inconsistent. I don't know if this is due to weight, torque, or flex but it plays much different than my other driver. I do tend to get quick and have a fast transition so I believe the heavier shaft really helps here. I was hoping someone could help me by suggesting something that might play similar. My swing speed usually averages between 109-112 and ball speed is 157 on well struck shots if this helps. The 910 produces the higher swing speed but ball speed is very similar. Any help is appreciated.
