Shaft Tipping - Tour AD DI 6SR - Tipping additional 1/2"

    Titleist tips Tour AD DI shafts 1/2 for standard installation.  I am having a custom shaft built at 44" playing length, for a 6SR Tour AD DI.  I am not looking to play Stiff as with a 6, but would like to stiffen up a 6SR a bit, would it be wrong to have a Tour AD DI tipped 3/4 of an inch or full inch?  Would an ammiature player feel the difference?

    Tipping an extra half inch will not do much to the feel but may reduce spin numbers ever so slightly.  Depending on the shaft, I would be willing to bet they will only tip in 1/2" increments though.

    Thank you.  I would agree and a little nervous about tipping a full inch.
