    Columbus,

I can't find anywhere providing the weights of the Heads themselves. I attached the 915 D3 head to the shaft from my 913 D3 and it feels MUCH lighter!!!. I removed the tip and re-installed the shaft with a 10 gram weight plug in the tip, and it still feels lighter.

I mean, I am picking up nearly 10-15 yards on my drives, even further on mishits, but I like to feel the club head thru impact.

    Any aid would be appreciated.

    915 D3 head - grams?

    915F 3 Wood head - grams?

    915F 5 Wood head - grams?

I am considering the 915F 3 & 5 as well, just don't want to purchase an 85 Gram shaft if I don't have to. I like my 75's.

    Thanks so much,

    Matt

I can't actually answer your question, but as a consideration, 'as a person ages, a lighter shaft is best'.

Check with the concierges on what shaft you have from your 913 and the weight on that 913 head, and the weight on your 915 head. You may have to put a heavier weight on the 915 or adjust the grip weights to get to the same swing weight, without going to a heavier shaft.
  5. I don't have the exact weights in front of me but I wanted to tell you the weights may vary a lot between one head and the other due to manufacturing tolerances.

I have two "identical" 913f 3 wood heads and one weighed 2 grams more than the other. That is equivalent to one swingweight.

I have three "identical" 915f 3 wood heads. Let me call them A, B and C. Turns out B weighs 2 grams more than A, and C weighs 4 grams more than A. That's two swingweights difference.

So don't assume similar heads weigh the same.

    Columbus,

Thanks so much for the reply Arturo. I appreciate your insight. I am surprised of the lack of tolerances in the weights, but should I be? LOL I purchased a M@trix shaft that is 5 grams heavier than my previous, and with the 10 gram weight plug in the tip, it swings pretty well. After a number of swings, I have to say that I have gotten use to it, and am still smacking it further than my previous club.
