Exotic Shaft Fitting Locations

    I have been in the market for a new driver/shaft recently and was wondering what fitting locations carry any of the exotic shaft offerings to test on launch monitors. I had a fitting a few months back at a local retailer, but they only had the standard shaft options available. I was able to hit a 915D3 8.5 with a D+ 70x, and although I did see substantial improvements in my launch, spin rate, etc. compared to my current driver setup (910D3 8.5 Diamana Blueboard 63s), I would like the opportunity to test out some of the other options, namely the Motore Speeder VC TS models, before I drop a couple hundred dollars on new equipment. None of the retail stores I've been to around my area have any shaft offerings outside of the standard Diamana and Rogue series. I am a high launch, high spin player, with a SS around 110, so having the right shaft in my driver and fairway woods is crucial. Where can I find a fitting location (near Arkansas) that has a broader range of custom shaft offerings? Thanks!

    Hi Josh,

    All of our fitting partners across the country have access to the Team Titleist Shaft Library. It's a complementary service where fitters are able to request a few shafts for a fitting, keep them up to one week, and then return them once the fitting is complete. The library consists of over 700 shafts, so we are able to accommodate requests for most items listed in our custom matrix.     Thanks Chris, I didn't realize they had access to shafts that did not come with their fitting cart. Also, the fitting I had was actually at Arkansas Golf Center in Conway. While I felt it was a great experience and definitely very helpful, they didn't have any of the more premium shaft offerings that I was hoping to try out. I've also been to a Titleist Demo Days in Little Rock since then, and the Rep there didn't have much to choose from as far as premium shaft offerings go.

    Hi - 

    I'm in the same boat. I recently went to the Titleist Demo day in Charlotte (Fort Mill Golf Club) but there were only 3 X-Stiff shafts to try out in the new D4 heads (which are awesome). Is there anywhere in Charlotte to try additional x-stiff shafts out, preferably on a trackman outdoors?

    Hi Zack, We have an Advanced Fitter in Charlotte at Charlotte Country Club.  Rich Albright is the Director of Instruction there as well as the Fitter - 704.333.9809.  Give him a call to schedule a fitting and let him know what shafts you are interested in trying. 

    One thing to note is that all the standard shafts that we offer are premium aftermarket shafts.  Mitsubishi and Aldila have been two of the top shafts on tour and in the last major at St. Andrews, they were number one and two by 26.8% and 18% respectively  We offer these premium shafts at no upcharge.

    So I could call Ark Golf Center and have them request a few of the exotic shafts for demo?

    If you schedule a fitting with Arkansas Golf Center, they can request shafts from us for the fitting.  As long as we have the shafts in the Team Titleist library, we can two day air the shafts for the fitting.
