  1. Hi guys

I'm after some advice please. I'm currently using a 910 d2 driver stiff with project X 7c3 shaft in which I have for a few years now but am thinking of buying another driver now. I play of 12 with swing speed of 103 and usually drive around 270 mark. Problem I have is that I get a high ball flight using this shaft and also feels a bit heavy(feels o can get through the ball well enough). I'm thinking of getting a d3 head as read that'll help lower launch angle!?? Also I'm considering either : Aldila RIP 60 shaft or Ahina

Can anyone advise me please as getting fitted properly is bit of an issue where I'm based!

    Thanks

Out of the four stock options with the 915 driver, the diamana white board is a lower flight shaft and I believe is 70 grams. The blue board is a higher flight shaft. The Aldila rogue black which is what I use is mid to high flight and its 70 grams. Not 100% sure but I believe the Aldila rogue silver is a low flight shaft and is 60 grams. Me personally I use the rogue black in the D3 head and I have no problem with hitting varying trajectories.

I have the same setup in the 910D2 9.5 degree including shaft, similar swing speed, and went to the 915D2 9.5 degree with the Diamana Whiteboard stiff shaft last year. The weight is very close (73g for the Project X and 70g for the Diamana). Both of mine are adjusted to the highest loft setting with a slight draw bias. Ball flight is more penetrating with the 915D2 setup and distance is 5-10 yards additional. The biggest difference for me is the feel/sound of the impact. The 915D2 is definitely hotter.
  4. I had the RIP in a 910 D2 it had a nice flatter flight but carried, I opted for the GD Di 6 which I use still today in my 915 but more a mid to high
