I'm looking to replace my 910F 3 wood. Does anyone have some comments on the 915F with the Aldila Rogue Black? My local golf retailer had none in stock with that shaft, and I didn't really like the feel of the demo with a Mitsubishi Blue Board 70. Used to have a 906F with an Aldila NV 75 which I really liked. Is the Rogue Black similar? My driver swing speed is 92-95 mph range. I'm thinking I will require R flex. Thanks

I have a 915 Fd 13.5* with that Aldila Rogue Black shaft in stiff. My swing speed is 100mph with a quick tempo. I have an Aldila Tour Silver R shaft in my driver normally, but have a S shaft when it warms up and I'm swinging well. The Rogue shaft is very stiff but I think tempo is important. The shaft is firmer than the NV series and, for me, a little more consistent. I have a 15* 913 with the Mitsubishi shaft in both R and S. I think the Rogue is a much better shaft but also a much stiffer shaft.

I have a 915F 3W with the Aldila Rogue Black 80 stiff, and I love it. My driver swing speed varies between 97 and 101 and I also have a fairly quick tempo (too quick sometimes).

I found that this shaft allows me to control direction extremely well, and is my go to on tight fairways. It doesn't launch super high, but it launches high enough for me.

Keep in mind the 80 is around 86 grams if I'm not mistaken, so it will definitely feel heavier than your other shafts (mitsubishi 70 or aldila 75). I would recommend you go get fit before deciding on the shaft. I was ready to get a 915 D2 with a very similar shaft, and I ended up getting fit for the Evo Tour Spec 661 instead as that gave me better numbers and consistency, so I wouldn't just go for what I think feels best, check what actually gives you the best results :)

    Good luck!
