  1. I want to combo a 4-7i AP1 716 with my 8-W AP2 714's with kbs tour v x shafts.

    I currently have kbs tour v x's in the 8-pw in my 714's and need to buy a 4, 5, 6, 7, & W kbs tour v x shafts for the AP1 716's.

    Two questions:

    1) Will a KBS Tour V .355 work (fit) in the AP1 716's?

    if so,

    2) which raw lengths should I purchase for the 4-7i and the W? (I'm not looking to hard or soft step).

    Many thanks, Jason

  2. Hi Jason,

All of our irons and wedges use .355 taper tip shafts, so you are correct on the diameter.

For standard builds we use a shaft that is one inch longer than the stock build length, so you will need lengths of 39.5", 39", 38.5", 38", and 36.5" for the gap wedge.

Please keep in mind there will be a large loft gap of seven degrees between your AP1 7 iron and AP2 8 iron at standard specification. We would not recommend bending loft more than 2 degrees in either direction, but you will want to address this during the build process.

    Hope this helps

The 716 AP1 irons will bend to 4 degrees up, a little at a time, which is where I have mine.
