    Hello Team Titleist!

I am coming out to the Titleist Performance Institute over spring break for the complete experience. I have a question about the club fitting. What happens if you are having an off-day with either your swing or ball striking? Are they still able to accurately fit you for clubs? It seems like it would be difficult to optimize shafts and whatnot without hitting the ball well, but I figured I would ask and see if anybody has any experience with this. Thank you!

zach, not to worry. I've taken the TPI tour fitting 3 separate times over 6 years. Another complete fitting in my local area. You will be hitting so many balls, there is no such thing as being "off." Don't stress. Relax and enjoy. Things such as nerves and miss-hits and bad swings are all taken into account. The fitters know this going in and take all things into account. You will have the time of your life! Make sure to go to Scotty's Gallery in Encinitas also. They have putter fittings at that great site! Enjoy yourself, take pics for us and let us know how it all went!

I too went through the complete fitting. To be honest, hitting some bad shots is great. It allows the fitter to pick the best equipment for you the individual. If you were dead on and swinging better than your average I think the results would be a bit off. The best part of fitting in my opinion is improving the mis hits. Enjoy the fitting, it's going to be great. :)
