This past weekend I was given the VIP treatment by the UAE Titleist Reps at the picturesque Emirates Golf Club in Dubai. I wanted to see how the AP3s were first hand and Stuart and Phil went out of their way to make sure I was more than satisfied with the process. Yes they are bent stronger, but with the help of Trackman I was able to optimize both my length and shot dispersion. The top line is so pure that to my eye I could not tell much difference if any between my AP2s and the AP3s. Additionally, the feel of a cast iron vs. a forged one was unnoticeable to me. I also was able to eliminate one of my three hybrids getting two new 818s which will allow me to ensure the gaps in my wedges are properly addressed. Overall I am ecstatic with the new products that Titleist has yet again released. I encourage anyone with reservations about the AP3s to get out and hit them regardless if you plan to buy or not.
