Wrong handed club

So I finally ordered my replacement 9-iron that I lost middle of summer. And I emailed my club Pro from where I had them fitted. I showed him the fitting summary, but it showed everything in RH. Well the problem is that I’m left-handed and I forgot when I told him to order it, expecting him to remember that I was left handed. I received the club today and on the packing slip from the golf club it mentioned on there all sales final and no returns on individual irons. Think I’ll be able to get an exception and get the club in LH. I was also ordering a 3-wood and I’m gonna guess that that is in RH.

    Hi Amanda, Contact your pro right away to let him know that these should have been LH. See if he can stop the fairway. When the inside sales team places an order for clubs, they ask if the club is for a right hander or left hander. That's one of the first questions they ask. He will have to talk to the inside team to see what can be done because it sounds like this club is one that has been discontinued (716).

    I was curious about that as well. I have 3 different fittings listed in "My Fittings" from 2 different sites, and all three are notated as RH. I have managed to get all my orders correctly, but it explains why folks keep verifying that I actually want LH. Aside from my personal issues that the world is against me, including SC, that the stored fitting requires careful attention to remember to be sinister in ordering is at the minimum an annoyance and potentially resulting in an expensive error. Other than this, the stored My Fittings are a great idea and all the specs are otherwise correct.

    Don, any idea how your fittings show on there? I have had a lot of fittings and not one of them show, not even the one from Oceanside. Did you have to do anything to make them show?

    I don't know when they started. I had a Manchester fitting in August 2015 and it is not there. I had an Oceanside fitting 9/12/2016 and it is there. Had a Titleist Thursday just about 9/12/2017 and those are posted. Someone posted that there was a "My Fittings" button earlier this month and until then I didn't realize it was there. I didn't do a thing.

    Thanks Cathi, he’ll said he was gonna order another one, but if it’s discontinued then, I don’t know if I could order a 718 at the same fitting as the 716. Waiting to hear back about the fairway.
