  1. I look forward to this tournament every year. Riviera is rich in history. From the first tee, to the final putt, it'll be another fantastic tournament. I think that Robert Streb will have a great week(end). DeLaet, Compton and Spieth are also going to play well. Best of luck, gentlemen.

I love this tournament , to me Riviera is one of the best courses they play the 18th with that old  club house in the background.

They always have a very strong field, I agree about Jordan he has the perfect game for this course, a real grinders course.

Billy Haas is not to be overlooked, has won here before. His wife is due next week so his focus may wander a bit .

    David and Andy,

I agree with you both, this is a great event at a great course.  I also agree with you about Jordan Spieth, he seems like he has knocked the rust off and is ready to really start going again like he was at the end of the year.  I also think Jimmy Walker or Geoff Ogilvy could have a good weekend also.  Especially Jimmy, he just needs to get off to a decent start on Thursday morning.

  4. First round, 75, for Haas. It's only the first round. Still PLENTY of golf left. If he can play well enough to get to the weekend, I think he'll have the momentum to finish strong.

What I love about Riviera is that it has a rich history in golf and that it still holds its own today.  Its not tricked up to make it hard for todays players. This old course is challenging todays bombers.  Riviera has really stood the test of time.

Agreed! This is why the short game/iron play, is so important.

What a Sunday! Wow. The competition was fierce. Riviera held it's own. The rain...DeLaet and Spieth had a great finish.

As always, the '15 NTO was a fantastic tournament.
