My wife and I are heading to Collierville, TN on Tuesday to visit family and watch the FedEx St Jude Classic in, I guess it is Memphis.  This is our annual spring trek.  I plan on going on Wednesday when I can take some pictures of Titleist/FJ tour players. I have done some research and am planning on following Brandon de Jonge, Chesson Hadley, Brooks Koepka, Webb Simpson, and Cameron Tringale.   I plan on going back on Friday with my brother-in-law on Friday to watch the tournament, well, he has Pavilion Passes that day.   Hoping to see some good golf on a hot and humid Memphis day.  Wishing our tour players the very best next week.   Plan on playing some golf while I am there and having a bite of the world's best BBQ.

Enjoy the trip and the Fed Ex. Memphis is a fun town. If you plan to get out and play a round, try Quail Ridge (in Bartlett) is a fun course, and Cherokee Valley ( across the boarder in Olive Branch). As for BBQ, try Cozy Corner, Interstate and Central BBQ ( my personal favorite).

Funny that you recommend Quail Ridge.  Chuck and I will be playing there on Saturday.  Central BBQ is a good spot for eating, but so is Rendezvous.  You really can't go wrong with Memphis BBQ.

Am back and as usual was a blast.  As Dorothy said "there is no place like home" but she left out, and Memphis BBQ.   Old home week, visiting family and making new friends.  Quail Ridge was a lot of fun on Saturday and enjoyable experience with Scott and his group.  Let's do it again.  Have eaten at Central BBQ, but do like Memphis BBQ on the state line off I-55 and Corky's.  Also visited Kings Palace on Beale Street for some Cajun food on Saturday night. Love their gumbo and crawdads.  Ate some more crawdads at a nice restaurant in Collierville square and listened to Bluegrass on Friday night.  Also played Kirkwood National in Holly Springs, MS.  Tough course with a slope of 134 from the whites.  I went to the tournament twice and here are a few pixs of part of Team Titleist at the classic.  And fun was had by all.   :-)
