    Nice round Phillip.

To stay in the 80's it all boils down to avoiding penalty strokes and the 3 putts, (or just making a lot of birdies).  If you can start getting into the high 70's consistently, there's no reason you can get shoot some even par rounds.

    Hey Phillip,

Congratulations on breaking 80. I know how elated I would be if I were you. This is the same quest I have for this year.

Congratulations! It's a great feeling when you first break 80. It will probably take you more than 2 years to break par, but it can be done, especially if you're under the age of 14 and haven't had your "growth spurt" yet. Well done!

Great Job!  Breaking the 80 barrier in two years is quite an accomplishment.  Keep working at it and practicing and you will hopefully be able to get down achieve your goal of breaking par.

Again thanks for the congrats! I love this forum! I will work really hard to reach that goal. I know by continuing to practice and getting tips from you guys on this site I will reach that goal in the future. I hope everyone is having as much fun golfing this summer as I have.

I almost broke 80 today. Shot even par on the front and the wheels came off on the back. Three doubles and two bogeys. I was on #18 in regulation and 3 putted for an 80. It has been a couple of months since I have shot in the 70's. Congratulations.
