Titleist truck at TPC Sawgrass?

I saw the Titleist rig at a parking lot near TPC Sawgrass - but no trailer.  Is the road show there?

Our East Coast Performance Van just left the northeast and has some stops to make before it heads down south.  As it is brand new this year, we don't have the schedule finalized as to when it will be in Florda.

During the week of the BMW tourney at Conway Farms in Lake Forest, Illinois, I had the privilege of picking Jordan Speith up at the airport and bringing him to the club.  When we arrived his parking spot was right in front of the NEW Titleleist Van and one of the vehicle specialists greeted Jordan as soon as he got out of the car.  I got the chance to look inside the incredible work shop on wheels.  Sure is incredible the things they can do to keep the players equipment up to date.

I was also impressed by the friendliness of the staff, but even more impressed with what an outstanding young man Jordan Speith is.  The tv analysts have all said the trite comments about his maturity and incredible talents.  But even more importantly Jordan is a really outstanding young man who is really well grounded.  He told me his younger sister will not allow him to get a big head.  I enjoyed meeting him and treasure the BMW cap he has autographed for me.

I really hope this young man continues to enjoy playing the game, that he has fun doing it and stays true to the person I had the privelege to spend and hour with.  Titeleist, PLEASE DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO KEEP THIS YOUNG MAN REPRESENTING YOUR COMPANY.

His talents I believe are because of the fact your equipment and his swing compliment each other.  His personality, abilities will make him a great standard bearer for the game of golf and the Titleist logo for many years to come.

Mike S, you hit the nail on the head - having known Jordan since he was 10 years old, he's always been simply, a good guy. His younger brother Steve is, too. I never had the chance to meet their parents, but they must really know how to raise great kids.

I see now it is there for the Web.com final...

Mike,

Cool story! Thanks for sharing that! It is experiences like this that make the forum a great experience.  I would like to add that earlier this summer, when Hunter Mahan's wife was having the baby, he couldn't make it to a youth clinic that was held at the Colonial CC.  My daughter was signed up and I was a little disappointed that Hunter wouldn't make it.  The clinic was still held as planned, only Jordan Speith was in attendance, rather than Hunter.  Jordan did a great job and my daughter had a great time.  Jordan Speith is truely a class act and a great Titleist ambassador.

The old Titleist tour van is now on the Web.com tour.  The new van for the PGA tour guys is CRAZY. Check it out.  http://www.titleist.com/teamtitleist/b/tourblog/archive/2013/09/10/slideshow-first-look-inside-the-new-titleist-tour-van.aspx
