I am going to get some shoulder work done on January 22. I have not been able to swing a golf club for over a month and it is driving me crazy. I am hoping for no left shoulder pain for 2014. Prayers would be much appreciated!! Thanks and God Bless...

Like Todd said , take it easy and don't rush your recovery

  4. Been there and it is no fun....however once you have got back to normal you will be amazed how much fun you are going to have with your new mobility and flexibility!  Bet your handicap drops significantly in 2014!

    Good Luck!

Good luck!  I had shoulder surgery in February 2011.  I was actually back on the course by late April.  I intended to only chip and putt my first time out, but couldn't hold back.  I wouldn't recommend it, but I knew what my shoulder could handle and made sure to not overdo it.  Good luck and listen to your doctors.  They'll get you on the course as quick as possible.

Good luck with your surgery, recovery, and rehab! Find a PT that is a golfer. Sometimes he or she can work swinging a golf club into your rehab.

I know how you feel. I had surgery in October for a tear in my elbow. Haven't played since end of July. PT says it will be until Feb/ March. Want to play bad but definitely don't want to tear it again. Miss my Titleist and driving me nuts not playing!!!! I know it is for the best!!!!

Thanks for all the kind and positive words of wisdom for me. It has been a lot of years swinging with pain so I'm sure it will be somewhat weird swinging pain free. My goals for 2014 are simple. Shoot at least one round in the sixties and win at least one tournament. I am excited for what the future of golf brings for me. To top it off my 10 year old son is getting really interested in golf. I can't wait!!!
