Let me start off by saying I'm a hat junkie (others might sub a diff word for junkie).  I have 12+ Cubic Mesh style Titleist hats.  I have had the Sports Mesh in the past and I have a few old unstructured fitted hats like the Franchise ones by '47.   I've been a huge fan of the Cubic Mesh because I like the material and I like the fit more than the Sports Mesh.

I have NEVER been able to wear the adjustable styles because they are always too small for my head (I'm a L/XL guy)... that is UNTIL NOW!  No, my head didn't shrink.  The new Tour Performance adjustable hats are AWESOME!   I grabbed the White with Black letters and haven't taken it off!

-Fit is awesome, the band around the head is super comfy

-Material is lightweight breathable material that I'm sure once we get some heat in the Midwest will be perfect!

-The style of the Tour logos and the front script being solid white or black (not outlined) is AWESOME!  Plus it comes in TONS of colors.

I think Adam Scott is wearing this at the AP Inv and I believe I saw Duf wearing it earlier this year.  My new go to!  Now I just need to pick up all the rest of the colors!! :-)

Accessory Team, if you are reading this PLEASE keep this hat in the lineup for a long time!  It's a winner!

Thanks for the post. I'm also a L/XL guy and even most of those fit too small. I pretty much rely on visors. I'll take a look at the new adjustables.

Totally agree with you.   I am as well a hat "junkie"..   Although my head is not a L/XL, I am right in between sizes on the fitted model but still own 6 styles.  These adjustable are great!   Have 4 styles and plan to purchase / wear many more...  As stated above, good job Titleist!!   Keep it up...

  6. I am going to have to try one of these!  I am like you, a L/XL hat junkie and it seems most of the hats are too small or do not look right with the adjustable back all the way out!

What material is the clasp made of?

It says metal in descriptions online.  I haven't looked close.

It definitely stays where I want.  Don't slide as easy as some of the cotton hats I've tried in the past.

I just bought a new Titleist "Staydry" Waterproof Cap. Those are pretty sweet too.

  13. Clasp material is critical. If made from iron or steel (except stainless), over time sweat causes it to rust and stain the strap and general area.

I stand corrected, I thought it was metal (based on the description on a website) but I looked closer at mine and it is black plastic.

I have 2-3 in eWhite, Black, Charcoal, Navy and Red!  Haven't gone a day without wearing one of them!

And my high school daughter who plays on the HS golf team wants one also = WIN

I have never found a fitted hat that was small enough.. unless I look in the kiddie section.  and some of the adjustables wont go small enough to allow for a strong wind

I purchased all of the White ones from my course.  They still had Black, Blue, and Gray.

The feel and fit is pretty nice with these.

I might have to give that one a try.  I try to really limit how many hats I have.  I end up with a closet full of hats I don't wear.  A couple weeks ago I went through and purged all the ones I wasn't wearing and took probably a dozen out of the closet.  Like Justin, I've been picking up the cubic mesh hats which I love.  But I also like adjustable hats.  Sometimes they just fit me better.

Agree.  I liked the look of Scott's hat.   I'll also have to pick up a few of these in the different colors.   I agree with the simple block script and logo's, you can't beat it!

  23. I love these hats!!  We can't get the top 5 in Canada for some reason, only the colorful bottom 6.  Didn't stop me from ordering 16 from Carls golf land.  7-white, 3-black, 3-khaki, and 3 charcoal.  They all fit perfect!  They are the (FJ)pure touch of hats.  Couldn't be more happy!!

    Hey, Justin!

I'm another hat junkie like yourself.  I must have a couple dozen.  The sport's mesh in all colors but they really show sweat bands in the Arizona heat.  Cubic mesh fair a little better.  A few days ago I tried on that Tour Performance adjustable and it was love at first fit!  I think I'll to order them in all flavors!

    Wear them with pride!

Guys, I have the solution to our problem! I am also a hat junkie and I must have more than 20. In my youth, I would play without a hat because none fit me.  I would return home, take pain pills, and wait for my headache from the summer sun to go away. When Titleist fitted logo caps first hit the market, TT referred me to a retailer where I purchased size 7 7/8 or 8 for several years. After a few years, when the mesh styles came into the market, I had to purchase L/XL and most were much too tight for me.  After a round of golf, I would return home and suffer the pain of a monster headache caused by the elastic cap band that was just too tight. Now I can wear any of the structured Titleist fitted logo L/XL caps and you can to!

SOLUTION TO FITTED TITLEIST CAPS THAT ARE TOO SMALL: Ok, guys, here we go. I recently discovered the answer to our problem. Set up the ironing board and set your iron on its hottest setting with steam! On the tapered end of the ironing board, turn the back of your cap inside out. Use your hip to hold the headband in place on the inside edge of the ironing board.  Stretch the elastic headband with your left hand and use the iron in your right hand to apply steam to the headband INSIDE the cap on one side moving the iron back and forth on the headband and use some downward pressure. Press the headband with steam maybe twice. Follow the same procedure on the back section and then on the opposite side. Place the cap on your head and let it cool. It will NOT burn your scalp! If the elastic is still too tight, repeat the process. It's usually not necessary. Your glasses will get steamed up!

I can now wear all of the L/XL Titleist logo caps I have purchased over the years and they all fit my head and are comfortable! This process will simple heatset the elastic headband and the mesh fabric to a larger size with less stretch than before. This works! Good luck, guys, play well, and look good!

  34. I bought this hat in Gray and absolutely love it. I can't find any others in any stores or my pro shop, but I will definitely be ordering a black, blue, and white one very soon!

    My favorite hat!
