Today is the first round of the RI Stroke Play. It is being held at my home course.  Hope to represent my club in a positive light and make the cut from 123 to top 48.

I am ready and all Titleist geared up.  Hope I make the cut from 123 to top 48.  If i do, top 48 play 36 tomorrow. Only played 36 one time in the last few years, but I know my Titleist equipment will hold up, just hope I can too.

I will follow up to this string tomorrow to let everyone know the ball count.  My guess is it will be at least 90 Titleists balls in play.

So I was way off one estimate. Out of the 122 balls in play 114 were Titleist. Just goes to show what ball you can count on to perform. Played pretty well and made it through day one cut to the final 48. I shot 73 whith bogies on 3 of the 4 par 3's.  I started out  par birdie birdie and gave back a bogey on the 5th hole, a 187 par 3.  The only par 3 I actually hit the green but got too quick and didn't mark a 7 inch put and missed for a three jack.  Oh well live and learn I guess. I won't do that again.

Thanks for the support and hopefully I will do well tomorrow. A 36 hole stoke play finish
