Trying to find out if the D2 (9.5) is compatible with the Bassara W50 "A Flex" (49 gram) shaft?  My swing speed is 89, launch angle averages 15.4 with ball spin averaging 2387.  I'm currently using a Aerotech Claymore MX-48 shaft ( 49 grms) in another driver getting good results.  I want to move to the D2, and would like to use one of the shafts Titleist offers.  Just trying to determine if the Bassara will give me the best results coupled with the D2.

The W is designed with the D2 player in mind! My bet is that we'll get you fit into one in a swing! Or two.... ;)

All of our Advanced FittingWorks Centers have the Bassara W in the A and the R flexes so you can try it out. If you are not near an AFWC, give us a call and we will find a fitter that has one for you to try.

Hi Louis, Yes, not only can you change the loft and the lie angle of the 910 metalwoods, you can change the shafts and try different shafts. In the 910's, we have the D2 and the D3. The D2 is our 460 head, hits the ball at a medium trajectory and with mid spin. The D3 head is a little smaller (445cc), deeper faced, and will hit the ball at a mid trajectory with less spin. If you need to find a good fitter in your area, give us a call and we would be happy to help - 1-888-TITLEIST
  6. I just bought the Titleist 915 D2 Driver with a Bassara 50 Hi A-Flex shaft. I can't find any info on this shaft. It is Red color. Can you send me some info? It was listed as an up charge shaft on the sticker.

    Thanks

Hi Bob, Have you checked the 2015 "Accessories Catalogue"? I'm assuming that your shaft is the Mitsubishi Bassara W with "A" flex, High launch? If so, it is on page 9 of the Accessories Catalogue... under Driver/Fairways Shafts. There is also a graph/matrix that allows you to compare the various driver shafts relative to flex and ball launch. Douglas
  8. Thanks I see the page you speak of. But it says standard and my shaft had a sticker that said $149. upcharge.

So I don't know if it is the same one???? Are their two different ones???

The Bassara W 50 or 55 is not an upcharge shaft in any flex.
