I've been playing golf for 7 months now and I was hooked from day one. I was turning 30 and my wife was getting tired of me coming home after my basketball games hurt. Today was my first time breaking 80. Shot a 78 at Encino, a public course (par 72). Just want to take a minute to thank Titleist for making great equipment!!!
congrats James! That's awesome. I broke 80 twice last year (a 77 and a 79) and it was such a thrill - hoping to do it again this year

Quite an accomplishment congrats. Keep playing. Haven't broken 80 in heck I don't remember when, couple of 81's but can't seem to keep it in play. Oh well NBD, love it anyway.

What Titleist golf ball were you using. I broke 80 for the first time myself using the New NXT Tour S in Optic Yellow.

Congrats on breaking 80 James. The first time will give you great feeling that's for sure, and now that you have done it wants you will want to keep doing it, and hopefully will.

I shot a 79 today!!! I used a ProV1X.
I was one over after nine - thought I was going to shoot right around par - decent back nine though and had a 5 footer for the 79 that I managed to make! Great day on the links.

Teach your wife how to play golf. Worked for my dad and stepmom (she is a die hard golfaholic now) and worked for the wife and I (on those rare occasions I can get her out to play).
