There have been many topics already discussed on the Team Titleist Forums.

Please use the search feature to check and see if the question has been asked already.  Seems to be a bunch of the same old questions being asked about products, shafts, bags, etc.  Most of these questions have already been asked in the last few years and the information is out there with a little bit of research here.

Just an FYI for anyone that finds it useful and is tired of reading the same posts.

I'll go back to the porch to yell at the kids to get off my lawn now.

I tend to ask the odd-ball questions.

Too many posts about people with pro distance, 120 mph swing speeds, and triple x flex shafts that barely play bogey golf.  Bottom line is go practice the short game or quit trying to kill the darn thing (and maybe the person might end up in the middle of the fairway instead of trying to hit around a tree).

The other two fave repeat things are wedge distance gaps or whether to use a fairway wood or a hybrid.  In the "good old days of Golf", a pitching wedge was ~51 or 52* and a sand wedge was ~57-58*.  Too many people are getting caught up in the hybrid hype (that they are the greatest thing since sliced bread and far superior to hitting a fairway wood); my two cents has always been "try them side by side" and, for that matter, try the 21-27 hybrids alongside the 3-6 irons. If one wants to look for set makeup, go to "Golf Clubs - Golf Club Fitting-Right Clubs for You" and it recommends various things (for instance, someone with pro distance should be using a 13.5 fw, 17H and 3-9 irons; a senior or woman may use a lofted driver, 17 and 21 fairways, 24H and maybe 27H and nothing higher than a 6 iron); the bottom line is 10.5 driver-3W-5W, 3H, 4-P, 52-56-60 isn't for everybody.  There are Tour PGA golf pros that use 11.5* drivers (and one of them is rather infamous), that don't carry a 3 wood, and that use a 7 wood.

Bottom line is some need to think outside the box on their golf games.

I always stick the ball within 7 inches of the cup using the Pro V1, if I switch to the Pro V1x I only put the ball to about 18 inches from the pin; however, the Pro V1 flies 375 yards off the tee and the Pro V1x flies 420 with my 3 wood.  What ball is right for me?

Well said Tim.  Keep those rascals off your turf- don't they have school tomorrow?

Tiger is just a grumpy old guy, oh wait, I am older than him.  And I paid those kids five dollars to run across your lawn, so stop yelling at them.  I have found most answers I have needded looking at old posts, but sometimes you just got to ask that question.

One thing I hate seeing is all of the lanyard and sticker forums.  I was lucky enough to get a lanyard and a sticker.  However I hate  when I see people posting about them all the time.

I think people are just testing Titleist to make sure they give the same answer or better yet hope that since they are asking it that they will get a different answer.... Maybe?  Maybe not...

The beauty of TT and other online communities is that most questions are answered by fellow golfers.  Mike, Cathi, Et. al only chime in when it's needed.   When people ask the same bogus question over and over again it really kills the momentum of the community.  I think good old Tim is advocating the search function...

Tim -  I hit the ball about 340 yards (carry, with a 7 iron, after two shots).   Should I go with the 913 D2 or D3?  Also, what are my shaft options?  I expect an answer when you quit yelling at those pesky kids on your front lawn.  :)

What's even funnier is someone who complains about airmailing a drive 290 yards with no roll.

Do I need 6 wedges (PW, GW, hi bounce SW, lo bounce SW, LW and XW) in my golf bag and what clubs do I toss to accomodate them?  Or do I separate my woods by 2* loft and carry 3 wedges?  K.I.S.S - Driver, 19 fairway, 27H, 7-PW, 52-12, 60-10 and putter is what I currently carry (I will be getting a 910H 21* as a b-day present and it is a N.T.H.).

    Scott,

     You need a 910 D3 and a 910 F then a 5 iron then a 7 iron to hit it 340 yards.

SEARCH???? What is that?  Or you mean like Googling it?  :-)

I agree, Start with Search.  If you don't see your answer then go ahead and ask.  This is the same as all online communities out there.

    Cheers
