&lt;p&gt;My only suggestion to keep the rust off is to wrap or place a cover over the club. If rust does appear using Coke(regular) can remove it. I used it and it works. If the club head is heavily rusted pour some Coke into a container large enough for the club head to fit then leave it sit for a day or two. The Coke will remove the rust.&lt;/p&gt;
