For some reason i always seem to play better in wetter or soft conditions, either in rain or right after rain. Could this tell me something about how i swing that could help me improve when the conditions are dry and hard?
I always score better in wet conditions because of the soft greens...For hard and dry conditions I will play the ball a little more forward to get height for a soft landing with less roll using the 7-W's...The long irons I try to run to the greens with punch shots when it's dry and hard if the shot shape allows it..(1 ball back and club down).Good luck
What kind of divot do you take? Is the scoring mostly because of the slower greens?
I'm the exact opposite. Play much better in dry conditions, the dryer the better. Love a fast, dry track.
No It's not the greens, putting Is actually the strongest part of my game, it's my ball striking that improves when it's wet. I guess I usually take a deep divot so maybe that's why I hit it better when the ground is softer?
