Mike and TT Admins.....I have a suggestion for a new discussion forum / header.  How about something that allows us to post about getting together with other TT members in regions to play or somewhere to look for additional players to round out a group.  I'd like to meet a few more members in my area, play a round, etc..

We can always post this in the General, but it seems like it would get lost.  Adding a section for this might make it easier.

    Just a thought.

I like this idea.  It would be beneficial to have a board titled with something that sets its self apart from the rest of the forums.

Need to find a way to allow contact through the board via some type of private messaging system.

    Hi Chris,

You can send messages to other members that you are friends with via profile pages. If you click on a members name, you should end up on their profile page and at the top right, you'll see a button for "send message" if you are already friends. If you're not friends, you'll see a "Send Friend Request" button. You have the ability to write a note in the friend request.

    Hope this helps.

That's great Mike, but how do we find out where other TT members are located? For example, I want to set up a Dallas/Ft. Worth area golf outing for TT members. How do I find the TT members in the area? Curently, the on;y way I know to do it is to make a new topic, "DFW TT golf outing". It might be easier we could just find the local TT members by region.

    Mike,

I understand this concept, but how do you know what TT members are in your area or an area you may be visiting?   Maybe creating a TT Member Map would help facilitate this process.

You can always use the "Member Search" function: http://www.titleist.com/teamtitleist/search/default.aspx

Keep in mind, you have to search for a member name and only members that have set their profiles to searchable will show up in results.

For example, you could search for "Mike" in the Member Search (found in the search drop down) and then filter results by State. An empty search (no name entered in) will not return any results.

This is all done for privacy concerns.

Mike, wouldn't it behoove us to be able to search for members by state? Then, we could add friends in our area.

    Hi Fred,

We definitely appreciate the idea and we continue to explore ways to provide new ways to connect with other members, but we also have to do so in a way that doesn't present any privacy concerns.

Right now, we're not able to offer a search by state feature but we'll keep everyone posted if we're able to provide that in the future. Thanks for understanding.
