I am sure that everyone on these threads are Titleist loyalist, And why not? I was a png man until I played at Orlando on vacation a few years ago when I rented a set of titleist. I played one round and was hooked. Three years ago I bought a used set from a fellow at my local club. Once the 714's came out I got fitted for an entire set bag, putter -driver. Best investment to my game that I ever made went from shooting in the 90's to breaking 80. I love my Titleist hooked for life.

When I first started playing golf, I played miz wings,  then made a set of knockoffs that I played for a couple of years,  my first fitted set were cally diablo edge irons.  That was a nice set for my game.  I had always used titleist golf balls but thought that titleist clubs would be to hard for me to hit and control.  Boy was I wrong!  This past January, I was fitted for 714 AP1's and I haven't looked back since.  I have shot my lowest scores ever with these great irons.  My next purchase is to replace my driver and fairway woods and hybrids.  I am so glad I now play titleist clubs, balls and bag!  Thanks titleist for your fantastic products and services.  I am a titleist loyalist for life!!

I thought Titleist was for single digit golfers. At 59 and only desire to learn the game, local retailers brushed me off. I was looking for a cbra fitting - not realizing that the Advanced Fitting Center I went to no longer had that line after it was sold off from Acushnet and they were able to fit me in 712 AP1. Never had a better accident. Anyone serious about playing at any level can get the best fit with a Titleist fitting.

In my younger days I traveled playing a lot of softball so did not play golf but for maybe 8 or 10 rounds a year, about 15 years ago the family began so I turned to golf not realizing how addicting it is.

Not going to mention the other brands I played  [ one is where the Browns play home games, the other think ole Tom Morris initial's] , they were OK and like  Don O.  I thought Titleist clubs were only for scratch golfers.

First Titleist club  I bought was the 983 Driver and to my surprise it was extremely playable, then I integrated  a few  Vokey wedges, that's how it started for me .

Now I play 40 -50  rounds/year and  everything golf related is Titleist, clubs ,balls, bag, hats -  I have a Rossa putter my dad gave me that still works well for me but sometime in 2015 I will invest in a Scotty.

Proud to be Team Titleist and will be for life.

I played the irons of another major player in the industry and the woods of a second big name for 9 years.  But three seasons ago, I switched to a complete Titleist bag.  Since then, I've won one club championship and two other club honors.  While the personal accomplishments are nice, more importantly, I've made several new friends through Team Titleist who I hope to tee it up with for years to come.  The community of Team Titleist players and the support of Titleist to TT has made me a Titleist player for the duration.

What hooked me on to  Titleist  was a little white ball.Sure in my early years I experimented with different balls, but always went back to a Titleist ball. Now I just stick with playing a Titleist ball. While I am  not playing Titleist clubs just yet ,The 714 API have really caught my eye plan on doing a fitting session to really check them .

Tried one titleist club and loved it so I tried another.  Now have the ap1 714s and all vokey wedges.  Hope to have new 915 driver by golf season!

  11. Funny enough I have a very similar story-Over the last several years had been in good with a TM rep so I was getting DEEP discounts, free stuff from time to time, and even clubs before they were released. This summer I was in Vegas for my bachelor party and rented the Titleist demo bag, 913's, AP2's, Vokeys, and a Scotty-lets just say my woods just came in, AP2's and Vokeys will be in this month-looking forward to the transition and gaming Titleist for the foreseeable future!!!

My first Titleist experience came this year.  I tried out the 913 D3 driver at my local club.  I loved the feel of the 913 D2 driver.

Based on my experience with the 913 D3 and learning more about the game by joining the Team Titleist Forum, I converted my entire bag to Titleist.  I do mean the entire bag... everything!

I got fitted for 714 AP2 irons (6i - W) by my local Advanced Titleist Fitter, Joe Colbert.  I purchased my 913F 15* 3W, 24*and 27* hybrids, Vokey SM5 54* and 58* wedges as well as my Scotty Cameron Newport 2.0 Dual Balance putter based on reading information on the TT Forum and working with my Advanced Titleist Fitter.   I capped it off with a Titleist Staff Bag.  Oh yes, I gave myself an early Christmas present by purchasing a 915 D2 Driver with Rogue Silver 60 S-Flex shaft on launch day.

In short, I got hooked on Titleist because it was clear to me, based on Team Titleist Forum, that Titleist consistently makes an investment in its products and more importantly in its customers.  Yes, I am all in and thrilled to be in the Titleist family!

Thanks Tittleist for making great products and providing phenomenal service to regular golfers like me who just want to keep it in the fairways and enjoy the game of golf for decades to come.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.

I put down my lacrosse stick and started playing golf when I turned 40. I instantly became hooked on the game. I played with TM my first two years. Then I noticed that TM continually came out with new product month after month, year after year, promising 10 more yards etc... I was playing with burner 2.0s then rocket blades. I began investing time and interest in my gear and did plenty of research. What I learned was Titleist wasn't playing the marketing game like the other manufacturers and that they had a reputation of being the real players equipment. After enough research and demos, I made the switch to all Titleist. I couldn't be happier and more confident that I am playing with the best.

I was a Clbnd guy for years. Have a great friend and golfing Buddy who lives in Lake Mary ,Fla. We have always been pretty even with our Handicap and scores. About four years ago he started beating me every-time we would play. He had just switched to Titleist from Png. After two years of that , I made the switch to Titleist and now we are back to head to head competition. I started with AP1 712 and 910's.....now I'm playing AP1 714 , Vokey wedges  and 913's.....I play the Titleist Velocity ball. I have just ordered my first Scotty (Futura X5) . All Titleist for me now !

My 1st set of irons where knock offs 858 then went to King Cobra I didn't get my 1st set of Titleist until 2005. I bought a set of 735 Cm's. After about 3 years I went to the AP2's and haven't looked back since. I have Tileist from 2 iron all they way to putter. I have always had a cally driver and Exotics 3 wood, but I have recently hit a fiends 915 and will be going for the new 915 driver and 3 wood for Christmas. Since I have switched back in 2005 I have had several friends make the switch and out of about 20 people I play golf with I think about 15 of us are all Titleist. In my opinion they do make the best clubs.

I was playing a set of miz MX-23's when the blade bug bit a couple of years ago. I had already moved to Titlest drivers and had developed a definite brand preference there, but I had yet to get past the game-improvement/game-enhancement marketing technique when it came to irons. Finally succumbed to the blade bug and picked up and fell in love with the 712mb's. Still a few holes in my bag--wedges and FW's--but as time progresses and finance allows Titleist will eventually take over completely.

I have been playing for 55 years.  I started with the Acushnet Club Special, switched to Titliest balls and have never looked back. I still have a Bullseye putter from around 1960.  Actually have 2 of them, cut one down for my son when he was about 5.

It all started around 1998 with a Titleist Ball, set of used 981 DCI Irons, and 975D Driver when I picked up the game of golf. It was love at first hack. I stayed with these clubs for a long time then I started replacing them with new technology that Titleist developed. Noticing that my game was dramatically improving, I tinkered, I practiced, I learned more about the game and Titleist, then ultimately became a Titleist loyalist. There's no place I'd rather be than the golf course and nothing else I would ever play other than Titleist.

I first played a set of Titleist clubs as a loaner set when I was on vacation a number of years ago.  I had always played Titleist balls, because I knew they were the best, but always felt that the clubs were for more elite players.  Well, after playing with Titleist clubs on vacation, as soon as I got home I went to get fit for Titleist irons and have never looked back.  I absolutely love the AP2's and have had every version that Titleist has made since they were introduced and to say that I am a Vokey wedge nut would be an understatement.  I have never had so much control of the ball around the green as I do with my Vokey wedges, my 60M grind is near and dear to my heart.  My bag is Titleist from head to toe and I wouldn't have it any other way.  If you can play with the best, why use anything less?

About 25 years ago I gave the golf business a try and became a PGA Apprentice. I was an assistant at a course in the Met section in NY. The Titleist rep was Wally Phillips who is probably retired by now and hopefully alive and well. Wally was a great guy. Titleist had an Assistants tuition program and Wally made sure we were in on it whenever we went to a school. At the time I was playing BH irons. Wally asked if I would be interested in playing Titleist. At the time Titleist had just come out with the DCI irons. I tried them, liked them and the rest, as they say is history. After a couple of years, I left the golf business, but to this day I never left Titleist. Frank P

I used a friend's 907 Driver a few years ago.  I fell in love with it.  I was using cally irons, but was so impressed with Titleist equipment that I switched.  Currently every club in my bag is Titleist, and I couldn't be happier.  I have posted my best scores ever with my Titleist clubs.  I am all in on Titleist for life.

I love this question! This got me thinking. I started with the ball, and worked up to the ProV1 as my game improved. I tried many others, but the feel and consistency won out. I then bought a used set of 735CM irons, and my game continued to improve. That is when I found this site. The friendliness, and loyalty from both fans and company is welcoming. I then was fitted for a 910D2 driver, and subsequently a GoLo S5, and AP2 irons. I'm a fanatic.

1st set of clubs that I had was a used Titleist Tour Model 90 forged blade (3-PW).  Yes, I learned how to play golf using a forged blade at age 11. Anyway, my parents gave me the choice at the pro shop of the used forged blades, or a new set from Northwestern.   I selected the Titleist because the pro said they were well built and would likely last longer.

    Best decision I ever made.

    Since the Tour Model 90's, I had the black diamond DCI's, 735CM's, and currently play the ZB's.  I carry the 913's (8.5, 13.5), a 909H (15), Vokeys (48, 54, 60, 64), and a Cameron.  I would not look elsewhere for equipment.

  26. 910 Driver was my first and I've never looked at another metal...then came the Scotty Cameron never looked at another putter...then some Vokeys...I grew up on Pings and once I've got my money's worth out of these G25s I'm stepping into a set of AP 1s in 2016.

I like the fact that Titleist peeps share the same high standards and loyalty when it comes to their equipment and the company appreciates it. I tell everyone I know that plays TM...try Titleist...you won't regret it! As In everything, the ones that listen never regret it and never look back once they've played Titleist!

    Happy New Year!

I've been pretty much all Titleist since the 975D hit the market. I bought a 975D driver and that lead to the matching fairways, then a set of 990 irons. Since then I've had almost every generation of driver and I'm on my 4th set of Titleist irons. There have been several Vokey wedges and scotty putters in there as well. Pure simple Titleist makes the best equipment in golf. Tim H.
  28. I had an old set of DCI's as a kid and when I finally committed to the game and becoming a better player, I went to a PGA Tour level fitter who currently fits for many tour players including major winners and at the end of my iron fitting he gave me 3 different irons and but tape over the brand names. He told me to look down at address at each one and pick the one that my eye liked best. By chance, I picked the Titleist 735cm's (there was a miz and cally as well). I became a much better player from that point forward and now trust this fitter (and Titleist) with everything. I

t is a superior product that also doesn't flood the market with new products so often that you feel like the one you just bought is no longer top of the line. Imagine buying a new phone and months later a new one is released with great fan fare- I would look down at my current phone and think I now have an inferior product. I know that after buying my 915 driver, a new one isn't coming out for 2 years. I don't know about anyone else out there but I think that is a remarkable marketing strategy. It's a much cleaner lineup than other manufactures. I know exactly what's out, what it's for, if it's for me or not, etc. It is an easy equipment manufacturer to work with ongoing.

As its been stated I got tired of feeling like a number and not a customer, and trying to  "chase" the newest greatest (marketing ploy)\ I had never been fit into those clubs as TM said (chat) that I was probably Standard/standard. I like that idea because it is a 3 hour drive to the closest "real" fitter.
After joining TT and plenty of research, I made the drive to get fitted for (Titleist) Driver though GW. I learned so much at that fitting and found out how wrong the off the shelfs that TM suggested were. It was a great day, sun shining and 29* ok not so great but I wanted to get it done as soon as I could. After I got the 714's in my hand i was hitting some of the best shots ever.  I hit the 915D2 as long (carrly) as the SLDR (summer time) . We went on through the 3 wood and hybrids and got my lofts at optimum performance

So everyone here and that fitter made me a Titleist loyalist  for life..  Still need to change bags and ball. Looking forward to the new ProV1x coming out, so that I can do the ball fitting procedures and compare.
    So THANK YOU TT!!

I have always played Titleist golf balls whether dt-solo, velocity, or now the PV1X. I have always enjoyed playing Titleist golf balls and I will for life! However, when I was 13 I was introduced to my firstTitleist club. I was needing a new driver so I went to a local Golf Galaxy and was fitted for the 909 D-Comp Driver. After this I began to consistently hit over 230 off the tee. Ever since then I have been playing Titleist drivers! I love the control I have off the tee. I play the 913 D3 and hit the ball consistently over 270. I love Titleist clubs. Now I also have Vokey wedges and a Scotty Cameron newport putter. I love Titleist and will always be hooked for life!

I started with a custom set of knock offs, progressed into  building all my own clubs. Then, for a Christmas present I got a Titleist 909 D2. The difference was amazing! Just the way the ball took off from the club face, the solid feel of the club itself, and yes the longer distance. The driver purchase led to two hybrid purchases, and with winnings from tournaments, I now have a 14 way stand bag, along with a 913F. Two years ago I bought a set of  ZB Forged irons from a guy at our club. (he bought a set of AP-2's.) These irons are great for me. And just this past season I bought a Scotty Cameron, Newport Select. You can not help but putt better with a Scotty ! Always Pro-V1 balls.

Eventually, I hope to be fitted for the AP-2's. The 915 D3 certainly has me thinking......

I will always be driving a Titleist!!

I have always been under the impression that Titleist was the best in golf, and I got my first taste when I purchased a used set of DTRs. I stuggled with them a bit, but enjoyed them none-the-less. Eventually, I added a Titleist driver (907D2). There are plenty of people who dislike the 907 drivers, but I absolutely loved that driver. Later on, I added some wedges, a 3-wood, and swapped the DTRs for some 670 muscle backs. I hit them a lot better than the DTRs (I have a higher handicap, but I learned on blades and prefer them). Sadly, I had to get rid of that set to help pay off some bills, but have since acquired a great set composed of a 905r driver, 906f2 3-wood, 585h hybride, 735cm 4-PW, and some Vokey Wedges. I'd love to add a California Del Mar at some point, but for now I'm using an Odssey White Pro #9 for the flatstick. Sure, there's plenty of other clubs I'd like to try, but I don't see myself ever leaving Titleist.
