I saw this on line, BH swing thoughts.

I have only two I try and stick with..........tempo and a balanced finish.

Anyone else have any swing keys or thoughts you want to  share ?

    Andy,

Love the graphic!  I have a couple friends that seem like they are going through all of these "thoughts" on every shot, only it takes them much longer that 1.5 seconds.  I try not to play too many rounds with them during the season.

Like you, I like to keep my swing thoughts to a minimum.  I like to focus on tempo alone.  If my tempo is good, everything else falls into place.

I know people who have those thoughts running through their heads.  For me, less is more.  The less I'm thinking about during a swing, the better.  I try to pick one, maybe two things to focus on and that's it.  Any more and it'll do more harm than good.

My main thought is to start my swing with both shoulders and everything else falls into place. As simple as this thought is when I hit a bad shot after it is over I realize I started the swing with my hands which just messes up my normal tempo.

My main swing key is to have a balance finish on my swing. When I concentrate on the finish position my tempo is good and I know I have accelerated through the ball .

As I started playing golf, I had many of these thoughts in my mind, but I recognized that my brain was to slow to deliver and check all those thoughts in queue and so after a controlled backswing the rest of the swing was randomized. Today on the course I try to think on turning my shoulders and getting a nice smooth tempo. That's all...
