Just thought I'd post that I found a TEAM TITLEIST ball on Cinnabar Mountain hole #7. The dogleg left par 5 down the hill... Ball was just on the other side of the small wood fence in some tall grass. I was looking for my own miss-hit right there and didn't find it, but found that one.

My 913 was not cooperating as consistently yesterday. I should be able to pick up my custom 915 in the next few days... hoping it's good to me. I think the anxiety of waiting for my new driver has made it more difficult to hit my 913 lately. Is there a medical term for that, or an addiction group I can talk to, like Titleist-golf-equipment-aholics-anonymous?

Nice find at Cinnabar, so you're from the bay area as well?

If i'm correct, then you are already a member of a Titleist  aholics group.  its called Team Titleist...  we are all addicted to the greatest company in the game .   as far as anonymity is concerned, I just go by Steve.  but thats only because I haven't though of a cool golf nickname like " cool breeze"  yet...

great find though.  I'm thinking of custom printing all my Titlest balls with the TT logo

Definitely a nice find! I'm sure there are all sorts of Titleist goodie balls scattered throughout the golf courses all over!

As far as nicknames go...I wish I could take credit for the name. It was given to me from a very close friend who is a golf club fitter. We were playing golf at a private club in Rhode Island and it just came naturally. Some names just stick based the moment and I am lucky to have been dubbed CoolBreeze!

Yes, Bruce, I'm in Los Gatos and play Cinnabar a good amount.

Steve, my nickname, being my initials, isn't much better unless you add "Baracus" after them!

    Ben,

I'm in Sunnyvale and play Cinnabar once in awhile although my friends and I have been playing all over from Poppy Hills to Wente Vineyards.

I played the new Poppy in January. I like the design, but the grass needs to grow mature a bit, I think. Greens were pretty ugly, but I do see the huge potential.

I also get down to Carmel a good amount. I'm a Duke's member and fulfill my addiction through there, and also get a deal at Spyglass (my favorite), Spanish, Del Monte, (and Pebble sometimes--played there twice in Jan).

Let me know if you want to play sometime. I can manage on most weekdays (weekends are usually for family).

Ben, I like the new Poppy Hills we played the track last Sept. and the course was really nice with fast fairways and greens. My wife and I get down to Pebble Beach and Carmel a lot. You know that you're down there a lot when you know the Restaurant manager at Stick as well as waiters at Roy's and Stillwaters. Besides staying at Spanish Bay we've been staying at Quail Lodge and it's nice since they did the renovation and depending on the date you can stay for about $190 and then I'll play Quail Lodge golf course which is semi-private and usually not crowded. For several years I was also a Dukes member as you can't beat the deals to play Spyglass, Spanish, Del Monte and being able to brign 3 guests as well and also the food & drink discounts at PB resorts. I still have a couple of more years to work so I usually play on Saturdays but thanks for the offer.

Cool find.  I love finding TT stuff.  I was playing a course I'd never played before last summer and found a Test ball.  Pretty cool to know there are other TT members out there hitting poor shots from time to time as well.

If you want a TT ball gold mine, come to Thomson CC and look in the woods to the right on pretty much every hole.  There's a good chance a TT ball or two is lurking in there somewhere.
