I personally can't think of just one thing. To me it's everything. even the bad shots, to see if I can not let it bother me on my next shot . To playing with my family members, the views, it's a complete package for me.

Golf is a sport you will never fully master.  Just look at some of the best players in the world for proof.  They are at the pinnacle of the sport (some at all-time great levels) and they still want to improve.  As a competitive person, that fuels me to keep working at it and to keep playing.  At the same time, golf can be a very social sport.  It's a great opportunity for me to get out with some friends and have some fun.  And to top it off, it's an outdoor activity that is primarily played with some great looking backdrops.

Many things.  The view, the landscape, the rolling hills, the flag on the green.  Like the movie, "Bagger Vance" where you see the flag.  The breeze, seeing deer feeding in the fairways, seeing ducks, turtles in the pond.  The feel of the club in your hand, thinking of the shot trajectory.  All this helps to give a calm feeling.  I love it!

Where do I start? That feeling of hitting the shot you need and saw in your mind, before you took the club back. The constant challenge to be better, knowing the ceiling is unlimited. A beautiful fall day on a great course with friends, or alone just out there working on certain shots.  Golf allows me an "escape" from all the drama of life and for a few hours it's me and a little white ball (proV1) searching for my inner swing!

Nobody gets their friends together to plan a baseball trip?

For me, there is nothing better than playing as a single after work. It's a complete detox of the day's stress. To be able to go out and not worry about scoring but just trying shots you wouldn't typically try. Complete serenity!

I love trying to score better every time I tee it up.   One of the best ways to spend time with family and eating hot dogs!

That one shot that brings you back and keeps the illusion going that I can play this game .

I love that it is a way for me to compete with myself and others. I played sports in school and golf gives me an outlet to keep being competitive. The feeling of a birdie is outstanding.

It's a game you can play with friends. It's a game you can play by yourself.  You can make new acquaintances when you get paired with others as single. I've met a lot of great people on the course. You can compete against others. You can compete against yourself to set a new best score. You can better your overall score, or just on that one particular hole that always seems to get away from you. You can reap the rewards of an unexpected birdie, or just that perfect day outdoors.

i like the personal challenge of getting better every round.

As of 3 years ago, my daughter is now hooked at the the age of 8.  Nothing like a father/daughter combo!!

    I love this game.

I like the solitude at times. I love going to the range on quite days, those early mornings before the busy hours with your first cup of coffee. I love the late evenings when most have already left for home and it's just yourself and another guy at the other end of the range hitting out your last balls.

The constant room for improvement that a guy with my mindset always looks for. The fact that nothing has ever been perfect quite yet, and how hard I have to work to get there.

There is so much to pick from:

    • Ripping a drive down the fairway
    • Sinking a long putt
    • Having fun with friends/family
    • Being out in nature
    • The constant challenges that await after every shot
Golf has so much to offer to everyone

Whats not to Love!  In honesty even if I'm having a bad round, if I'm with my buddies or my League, or even a solo sunrise round. Its the best.  To me walking down the fairway on beautiful morning ...there is nothing like it.  And when things go well and the scoring works out, that's not so bad either.

I have introduced the game to all 4 of my daughters and now my grandson who is 4 has a set .
