My wife only gets two weeks of vacation and the job I have fortunately gives out good benefits and have 5 weeks of vacation. Because I don't want to leave her at home by herself I take a week off and just go during the day. Played a lot of fun courses in Connecticut this week like Lake of Isles, Oxford Greens Lyman Orchards, Sterling Farms, and Racebrook CC. The only problem was the weather everyday was about 60 windy and overcast, but a bad day of golf beats a good day in the office (amiright?!). Tons of mediocre shots a few birdies and a boatload of Shameless selfies we're had throughout the week. Highly suggest to you married men and women who have more vacation than the spouse....the stay-golfcation.
