Chan charges to victory at the Asia Pacific Diamond Cup

Titleist golf ball loyalist Shih-Chang Chan (Pro V1x) fired a final round 8-under-par 62 to capture the Asia Pacific Diamond Cup.

Chan began the day six shots behind the leader before soaring up the leaderboard en route to a 10-under-par 270 victory total. The 30-year-old from Chinese Taipei, who captured his maiden Asian Tour victory at the King's Cup two months ago, carded eight birdies en route to his win at the tournament, which is co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and Japan Tour.

“This is my biggest win ever since turning professional 10 years ago,” said Chan after the victory. “From winning on the ADT (Asian Development Tour) to winning on the Asian Tour now, I think my biggest change is my mindset. I used to get angry easily on the course. I think more positively now.”

With the win, Chan now moves up to fourth on the JGTO Order of Merit.

Titleist Brand Ambassador Shugo Imahira (Pro V1x) tied for fourth for the second consecutive week and has five top-5 finishes this year.
