Titleist Launches Golf Fitness Websites for Both Golfers and Professionals

MyTPI.com web sites designed to provide golfers and professionals on-line access to insight, articles and instructional videos from some of the top golf fitenss professionals in the world, as well as many other custom features.

Carlsbad, CA (January 11, 2006) - The Titleist Performance Institute is one of the most technologically advanced golf evaluation facilities in existence focusing on swing efficiency, conditioning, and custom equipment fitting. At the Titleist Performance Institute, golfers are placed through a complete array of tests assessing a "total picture" of their body, swing and equipment. The TPI team recommends a program that will seamlessly integrate into the golfer's existing PGA or LPGA professional's instruction to help optimize performance.

As an extension to the Titleist Performance Institute, Titleist introduces MyTPI.com, two member-based web sites designed to provide golfers and professionals on-line access to many of the conditioning and fitness features that are made available to TPI participants.

"While there is certainly no substitute for participating in a TPI evaluation in person, we recognize appointment availability precludes many golfers from attending," said TPI cofounder Dr. Greg Rose. "This new web site initiative will allow golfers to conduct an on-line physical screen which will, in turn, develop their personalized workout program. It also provides access to other web-based TPI features."

The consumer subscription provides access to articles from some of the top golf fitness professionals in the world, instructional videos by the TPI staff, a personalized golf fitness workout program, a customizable workout calendar and a welcome kit that includes all of the information and golf fitness products necessary to complete his or her workout program for an annual $150 membership fee.

While MyTPI.com is available to all golfers there is a separate and exclusive website for PGA Club Professionals, instructors, registered trainers and golf, medical and chiropractic professionals. Through this subscription-based version of the website, a professional can offer the screening and other TPI features to their students. Professionals are provided access to content previously only available to tour players and Titleist Performance Institute attendees and staff for a $75 monthly fee.
