Acushnet Company Announces Licensing Agreement with Major League Baseball Properties™

Team Logos Available on Titleist Golf Balls, Golf Bags and Accessories

Fairhaven, MA (May 23, 2007) – As the baseball season gets underway and golf courses open around the country, Titleist proudly announces an exciting new licensing agreement with Major League Baseball Properties (MLBP). Golf enthusiasts and baseball fans will now have the opportunity to feature the logo of their favorite Major League Baseball team on Titleist golf balls and accessories.

"When we were looking into partnering our industry-leading custom business with a professional sports organization, we felt Major League Baseball was a perfect fit," said Brian Lucas, Vice President, Titleist Corporate Sales. "The Titleist brand, much like the 30 Major League Clubs, attracts a dedicated and loyal following. These fans can now showcase their affinity for Titleist and their favorite team in a variety of ways."

With its revolutionary custom golf ball packaging program, Titleist, the #1 ball in golf, utilizes a state-of-the-art printing process and design templates specific to each of the Major League Clubs. Titleist custom golf balls will be available in single ball, half-dozen and dozen configurations. In addition to golf balls and packaging, team marks will also be emblazoned on Titleist headwear, golf bags, travel covers, towels and umbrellas.

Titleist also announces that it has finalized an agreement with the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) to feature the logos of 21 colleges and universities on Titleist golf balls and custom packaging. Participants include: Alabama, Arizona, Auburn, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Illinois, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas and Washington. More colleges and universities will be added throughout the year.
