When Titleist Golf Ball Loyalists Padraig Harrington and Daniel Berger walked to the first hole of a sudden death playoff at The Honda Classic, the eventual outcome was in question, however, the winning golf ball was not - it would be a New Pro V1x. Harrington secured the title with a par on the second extra hole for his second win with the New Pro V1x in less than three months.

Both playoff participants finished regulation at 6-under-par 274, one shot clear of three players, including Titleist Brand Ambassador Ian Poulter

"When I get in contention I can still hit the shots, it felt good today," said Harrington.

The win secures Padraig's spot in this years Masters and earns him a two year exemption on the PGA Tour.

Congratulations on a fantastic week, Padraig!

WEEKEND HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE WORLDWIDE PROFESSIONAL TOURS

Titleist Golf Ball Loylist Andy Sullivan became the first player to win twice with the New Pro V1x golf ball after closing with a 6-under-par 66 to capture the Joburg Open. Sullivan finished the tournament with a 17-under-par 270 victory total.

On the LPGA Tour, Titleist Pro V1 golf ball loyalist Amy Yang rallied to win the Honda LPGA Thailand by two strokes over three players using the New 2015 Pro V1. Yang closed with a 3-under-par 69 to finish with a 15-under-par 273 victory total.

Titleist on Tour: 2015 Honda Classic

Warm weather, high winds and fantastic layouts greet the best players in the world as they head east for the Florida swing. The first stop is this week's Honda Classic, contested on the difficult Champions Course at PGA National Resort. Known for penal rough, demanding Par-4's and one of the toughest closing stretches in all of golf, PGA National offers players and fans alike excitement from the first shot to the last putt.

The Honda Classic also features one of the strongest fields in golf, due in large part to the fact it is a "home game" for many of the world's best players.

"Playing in front of a home crowd is special. You don't get to do that very often, especially here at PGA National. Family is here, a bunch of friends, things like that. It's special for me," said Palm Beach native and Titleist Brand Ambassador Brooks Koepka.

Titleist Pro V1x Loyalist and local resident Rickie Fowler echo's Brooks sentiments.

"Obviously this is kind of my second home. I've been a resident down here in South Florida in Jupiter for five years now, so it's nice to be sleeping in my own bed, being at home, some home cooking," said Fowler.

Despite the local knowledge, familiar surroundings and opportunity to sleep in one's own bed, players still understand it will be a difficult week, and quality ball striking will be the key to success for the eventual champion.

"It plays very tough, you have to drive the ball well, when you add the wind it only become more difficult to find fairways. Approaches are also very difficult, you have to be on from green-to-tee," said Fowler.

We look forward to another fantastic weekend of tournament action. Good luck to all of #TeamTitleist!

BY THE NUMBERS: 2015 HONDA CLASSIC

This week at the Honda Classic, Titleist is the overwhelming golf ball of choice with 87 players in the field trusting a Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success. That's more than x times the nearest competitor with 17.

Titleist Vokey Wedges were also the top choice in the approach, sand and lob wedge (124) category.

Titleist Pro V1x golf ball loyalist James Hahn won the Northern Trust Open after converting a 25-foot birdie putt on the third hole of a three-man playoff. It marked the first career PGA TOUR victory for Hahn, who fired back-to-back 2-under-par 69s on the weekend.

James relied on an impressive all around performance to take home the title, ranking in the Top-30 in driving accuracy (28), sand saves (T9), strokes gained tee-to-green (2) and strokes-gained-putting (T1), but it was one shot in particular that he believes was a key to the victory.

On the second playoff hole, James had a difficult shot from the rough over the green on the demanding, yet driveable, par-4 10th. With complete confidence in his golf ball, James pulled off an impressive flop shot, landing within 12 feet allowing him to make birdie to extend the playoff.

"I love those shots... that's one of those shots where I've been practicing with my brother ever since I was five years old. You know, pick the most difficult lie, try to get up‑and‑down, and it's to win a golf tournament. I had a lot of confidence over that shot," said Hahn.

The victory also means an invitation to this years Masters tournament, a fact not lost on the newly crowned champion.

"I can not wait to go the Masters. I will certainly clear my schedule for that one."

Congratulations on a fantastic tournament, James. See you in Augusta!

Greg Trout and Ken Stoick have created a strong friendship thanks in large part to their mutual love for the game of golf. Their passion for the game also led to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity as they were selected as the 2014 Titleist Performance Institute Experience Grand Prize winners.

This past December we had the chance to spend the day with them at the state-of-the-art Titleist Performance Institute in Oceanside, Calif. as they received the Tour treatment while getting precision fit for a complete bag of Titleist clubs.

As we got to know Greg and Ken more, we learned just how dedicated they are to the game. From coaching high school golf teams and toughing it out on the course during windy and cold conditions in Wyoming, to playing over 50 rounds a year at their home course, Greg and Ken are the definition of passionate golfers.

Watch the video above to see some highlights from their day and hear more about the experience.

Thank you, Greg and Ken for your passion and support. Enjoy the new clubs! Team Titleist would also like to send our appreciation to the staff of the Titleist Performance Institute, including Robert and Dino, for their hospitality.

And thank you again to all of the Team Titleist members who entered the sweepstakes.
