WOW It went in

While visiting Austin Texas I played a round at Grey Rock Golf Club. We had an eight o'clock tee time. Sun was shining and the winds were calm.
A beautiful morning for golf. I had a 2:30 PM flight back to Providence so our focus was playing a quick round. Grey Rock has a beautiful course layout and boasts a 4 hour round. The course was in great shape and as it was a Monday morning, it was not crowded.
On the third tee, I had the honor and selected a six iron. The pin was near the front third of the green and with no wind, I felt this was a good choice. The ball that I play is a PRO V1. It jumped off the sweet spot of my 6-iron and landed on the front fringe of teh green. The ball rolled about twenty feet and to our shock, disappeared.
I have been playing golf since i was a teenager, and as a 62 year old this was amazing.

The best part was to have my son-in-law and two other golfers witness the shot. The rest of the round was truly a most memorable round.
