I live near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and on June 7th while playing with friends I aced our 14th hole at Edgewood Country Club. The par three was 130 yards up hill into the wind with a 9 iron. The pro v1 seemed to penetrate through the wind, checked up and spun back into the hole. Great responsiveness by the Titleist from a slightly better than average golfer.
On June 30th just a few weeks later, I was playing in a charity outing at Sewickley Heights Country Club . The pin was located in the center of a soft and somewhat wet green that sloped slightly from left to right on the 13th hole playing 165 yards. There was no wind and the green was slightly lower than the tee box. When I hit my 8 iron I knew by the way only Titleist balls feel when coming off the club face it was going to be good. With a slight draw the ball tracked directly towards the flag. When it hit the green it checked up a bit then ran straight into the jar.
I'm sold on Titleist Pro V1 balls and I'm sure neither of those shots would have gone in had I been using any other brand.
