Third hole in one

A beautiful sunny day on 28 January 2015. Not much wind but what there was was at our back. The pin on the #7 hole was back left protected by a large bunker at the left front of the green. The green slopes from back to front and right to left. 187 yards is a little long for my 5 iron now but I wanted to be below the hole for an up hill putt. With the best 5 iron swing I've made lately I hit the ball flush. The ball flew toward the left side of the green and kicked forward from the downhill bunker slope by the green. The slope also kicked the ball to the right but the green right-to-left slope moved it back toward the pin. My playing partner and I saw the ball disappear. He said it went in but I thought it had gone long over the back of the green. He was right. The head pro, Terry Gum, gave me a pin flag which I annotated with the relevant facts and had my playing partners sign. Two holes earlier I told my partner that I had played about 3 rounds with the ProV1x and thought I should retire it. Glad I didn't. I have made 3 holes in one - all with Titleist balls.
