Titleist ball comes through again!

On June 26/15 at Huron Oaks Golf Club (the true home of Mike Weir) in Brights Grove, Ontario, Canada while playing on Team Intregra in the breast Cancer golf tournament fund raiser we came to hole 17. It was a par three, playing straight into a north wind and it measured 165 yards. I was third to shoot and so far we had nothing on the green. I have been using a knock down shot over the past few seasons when windy conditions are playing havoc with the ball flight. I took out a 6 iron, played it back in my stance and I remembered saying to myself "just trust it". I hit the shot, it came out nice and low, very slight draw, hit the green about 10 feet short right of the cup, bounced twice and started tracking towards the cup. One of my playing partners said "get in" and I knew it was close but just I was starting to look up we all saw it drop in for an Ace! Wow, the guys started yelling "It's In" and were jumping around like giddy kids. Then two of the guys said that they had never witnessed a hole-in-one, thus the excitement. To conclude after that we went on a 11 hole birdie run and won the golf scramble at -16 or 56. We had smiles on our faces all day, what fun. I'm the third guy from the left, 62 years old, play to 4-6 handicap, and can still fly it 275 on a good day, this was one I will not soon forget.
