It was at Orchard Hills County Course in Paramus, NJ. Hole #8, 133 yards. You must carry all the yardage because of a steep front. It has sand traps all around. I hate this hole!! I have reached it maybe once. I took out my driver because it was the first time golfing after having pneumonia and I was wiped out. I hit it perfectly, bounced up onto the green and rolled in. My husband, Dave and 2 other friends, Bob and Barbara were with us. Very exciting as anyone who has gotten one knows. It was also a very difficult health year for us. I was in treatment for leukemia and spent the month of February in the hospital undergoing an experiment treatment. It worked and I hit the 6 month make of being cancer free. This Hole in One is extra special.
