My wife talked me into playing one more hole which was the Par 3, 5th at Owasso Golf & Athletic Club which would have been my 9th and final hole of the round. I was reluctant to play since I had just made Eagle by chipping in from off the green on the Par 5, 4th. I was Even for the round and happy to go home on an up note. She encouraged me to go ahead and finish the round despite the darkness. She had played her match play earlier and knew the pin location which was 202 yards away and slightly right near the bunker. I aimed, swung, and bingo! My first hole in one in 45 years. It's about time!
