Sully's Ace - 9/23/2016

It was a top ten day in CT, 76F, light breeze, & not a cloud in the sky. Standing on the tee at the 11th hole at Gillette Ridge CC in Bloomfield, the tee to hole distance put me in between clubs. The pin was right of center putting the water on the right guarding the green clearly in play. I decided on Pitching Wedge because the hole was a little downhill and the slight breeze was a little in my face and would hold the distance firm but would not affect direction. The shot hit was just a beautiful shot that tracked high and on the pin off the club and while the four of us watched the ball landed 4ft short of the hole hopped once and lazily rolled in to the hole......Seemed like slow motion .... NICE! Cost me a shot and a beer but it was certainly worth it! Titleist all the way! Club: Titleist AP1 714 PW, Ball: Titleist ProV1, #3 with a big blue dot on each side of the Titleist name.
