It was the first day of our annual Ladies Home Tournament. I had had a hole-in-one during this event three years ago. I was playing with the same foursome. It is the toughest par 3 on the course. My friend, Terri, had the first ladies' hole-in-one on this hole ten years ago. There has not been a ladies' hole-in-one on this hole until mine. I had witnessed Terri's hole-in-one ten years ago, and was playing with her on this day. Terri and Shelly, had already hit. I got up and as soon as I made contact, Sheli, many times club champion, said "That's a good ball! We stood on the tee box and watched it hit in front of the green, roll on to the middle of the green, and in the hole. It was just a wonderful experience to be playing with such great friends and have my third hole in one!
