Ace After Cutting Edge Surgery

Hi There, This year, I battled tingling and numbness in my left arm. It severely affected my game, my handicap and the ability to stay comfortable on the course. I was cleared by my doctor to play in our member guest in early July. I spent the rest of the summer benched. The disc between C6 and C7 was badly herniated and a replacement (or a fusion) was required. I found a surgeon performing a cutting edge disc replacement procedure where nothing is screwed in. I had the procedure September 7th and was cleared to start chipping and putting seven days later. ...cleared to full swing at 75% on the 25th and played my first nine holes on that day. I marveled in the accuracy I had while swinging so lightly. Two days later, on the 27th, I played my first full round. On the 12th hole, I sucked back a 9 iron from 145 and hit my first ace. Talk about a comeback. Pro V1x in the bottom of the cup a mere 20 days after a cervical disc replacement. A testament to both the doctor and the super sweet balls you make. Memories made. Thanks Titleist!
