Simple story-- waited 37 years and used a 34 year old 6 Iron Tommy Armour 845 Silver Scott from 159 yards into the wind on #13 at Ritz Carlton Members Club in Sarasota Florida on December 7th 2017. I have come very close many times. Broken the cup, one time the ball disappeared into the shadow of the flag behind the cup and everyone was celebrating until we saw the ball! And many other close calls. But on Pearl Harbor Day-- it happened and a shot that never left the flag ended up in the hole. Fitting really-- happened on a day that will live in infamy Pearl Harbor Day and the day I FINALLY got my long awaited ace! With my Pro V1 with the usual black line marking it! Thank You Titleist !!
