as it creeps around the weekend round of my birthday, i had fetched a tee time at the local home course of mine here in MA. Just two mates of mine and myself went out for a fun strokes play match, my luck didn't quite come till the 4th hole. After a couple OKAY first couple holes, my favorite Par 3 was right around the corner on hole number 4! With the honor i teed it up and hit a 5 iron right at a front pin location of the 189 yard PAR 3... Just to be clear im about as blind as a bat but i still am able to make out my ball flight but tend to loose it from time to time... this time it failed on me again. As the ball of choice for me the Titleist ProV1x, is drawing into this lick chopping red flag in front of the green i remember saying "Land soft, Land Soft, SPIN SPIN!" hey you gotta talk to the ball, right? As it landed on the green it ONE HOPPED AND DRAINED into the cup... i thought to myself did that just go in and i turned to my playing partners and they were jumping for joy! i had to take their eyes for my witness, as we came up to the whole i seen the pitch mark on the green, a foot or so right in front of the whole and as i crept on up to hole and looked in, sure enough it was my ProV1x with my signature markings! what a birthday presents from the golf gods!
