A Million Swings Later

A Million Swings Later

My son had a hole in one when he was 12. He reminds me of it all the time. I’ve been close in my 36 years but close only counts in horse shoes. Playing 110 yard uphill shot made it slope up to 119 yards. I hit my wedge and my first thought was it looked good but needed to get down. Couldn’t see it land on the green due to the hill. My cart partner hit it short so I was waiting for him to get his club so I called to my other partners on the green. “Did I go long?” Their reply,” there’s only 2 balls on the green.” Dang I thought it might have gone long. Tough up and down now. Then they looked in the hole and hollared for me “it’s in the hole!!” We were part of a dogfight group so needless to say the money won paid off my bar tab that day. Money well spent.
