Bew Good!
By CMcCartney On June 1, 2016
Had my second hole in one on May 27, 2016 on the sixth hole at Fort Cherry Golf Club in McDonald, PA using a Pro V1 (No. 8). With a slight helping wind, I scoped the flag at 137 yards and striped a pitching wedge with a slight draw. The ball took a small hop then rolled the final 10 feet or so and dropped over the lip. The course even gave me a trophy to mount the ball. Post round a swarm of bees appeared outside the clubhouse. In an amazing coincidence, a beekeeper was in the restaurant having dinner. We sat on the patio with a few beers and watched when he returned with a mini shop vac and sucked them into a temporary hive. Quite a day!
