Playing at sea level is a beast I was not used to... so when I approached hole number 8 at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Palm Course, and saw that it was 156 yards, I was thinking a nice 8 iron or possibly a soft 7 iron for sure. But when all 3 others in my group hit a 7 iron, and all 3 were short, it meant I had to get my old trusty Titleist 710's 6 iron out! Hit it well... and it hit the front up slope of the green, hopped up, 2 hops, and in the bottom of the cup! It was fun to finally get my first hole in one, and also fun to do it with a couple of my best friends. Switched balls to a Titleist Pro V1 just before the shot... Titleist for the WIN!
